AccessoLoo Hire Centre Opens in England

Following our soft launch of AccessoLoo services at events across Great Britain during 2022, the opening of a depot was the next step in our growth plans.

One Delivery and Two Sites

Having become firmly established as the only mobile Changing Places operator on the island of Ireland, AccessoLoo has become synonymous with professionalism, reliability and quality of service with all of our clients and service users. So much so, we have a valued following of families who follow us to events as they know they will enjoy a full day of fun – with added incloosion. Coupled with the expansion in vehicles within our fleet, this had seen a huge increase in the number of events that we were being hired into for functions right across the island.

During 2022, our reputation for providing excellent facilities had spread across the Irish Sea t0 Great Briain, so much so enquiries from across the country began flooding in. These requests for information and prices quickly developed into firm bookings and it wasn’t long before AccessoLoo became a regular feature on the ferry services between the two islands. Whilst we were delighted to be bringing AccessoLoo to the disabled community in Great Britain, the logistical challenges of managing timescales to operate in both markets from our headquarters in Northern Ireland, meant that we were unable to fulfill every event request that came in.

Following the end of the summer season, Team AccessoLoo began to explore ways to make the process flow better for 2023. All options pointed to the same outcome – build a new vehicle and operate from a dedicated base in England. Looking at the spread of bookings and the current provision on offer from others in the marketplace, we decided to seek a location in the North of England.

The project was set, a team to build the vehicle and a team to find a location to base our depot. With current expertise already working within AccessoLoo the building project was relatively straightforward. Although finding the time to slot an additional build into the already busy work schedule was not quite so simple. Finding a depot was more of a challenge, as we needed a safe and secure home to locate the AccessoLoo as well as good, reliable staff to manage its use.

Thankfully, with the use of our networks, our first driver quickly identified themselves as being interested and following a series of meetings, Ceri Davies was delighted to accept the position and join the AccessoLoo Team. Now based in Lancashire, Ceri was in an ideal location that matched our plans perfectly. With a wealth of experience himself, Ceri also brings that added talent to the brand and was the perfect choice for our new venture.

Ceri said: “I am over the moon to be back working with a mobile Changing Places organisation and really looking forward to developing the brand across the whole of the county.” Well-known throughout the campaigning world of Changing Places, Ceri’s knowledge and professionalism are unrivaled and we are all excited to be working with him.

Flying to Northern Ireland last weekend to take delivery of AccessoLoo Zack, Ceri put the new member of the fleet through its paces before completing the handover and officially taking ownership of the vehicle and driving it to a new home in Lancashire. With bookings now being secured for the coming season Ceri and AccessoLoo Zack are all set for fun and adventure as they begin work this coming weekend. Both will be seen right across the country over the coming months and we look forward to reporting on their activities and sharing the love for all things incloosive as they go. If you see them on the road or at an event you are attending, please let us know by sharing your photos and thoughts.

As always, further information and bookings may be made directly with the office by calling Graham on 028 9751 2670 (opt 1) or by emailing us at info@accessoloo.org.
